Café Carbon Jordaan is the fourth restaurant in Amsterdam to use the Carbon concept. After the success of the other restaurants, the owner bought a location in the heart of the Jordaan. I was also asked to produce all the metal work for the interior.
Carbon Jordaan is the largest of the four and seats over 100 people. For this location I also created the most important part of the restaurant, namely the grill where the most delicious meat is prepared.
This location has a number of new lamps that also completely fit in with the Carbon interior. The refurbishment was realised within a very short time of two months.
The coffee cupboard was also very cool to make. This cabinet, made entirely of blue steel, fits perfectly into the Carbon concept and has become a real eye-catcher. The letters on the doors are riveted on with brass rivets, which underlines the warm feeling of the craftsmanship.
