For a client in Almere I was asked to design and build a modern fence for a loft. The starting point was that it had to have a minimalistic and clean look. The outer uprights and the handrail are made of the same profile so it looks like it's made out of one piece.
To maintain the minimal character I used very slim cable tensioners for the cables so they are as inconspicuous as possible. The connections between the parts are also chosen in such a way that at first glance you don't see how they are connected.
Despite the slim design, the unit is very stable.
The design was created in collaboration with interior designer Doris Schipholt.
The whole is finished with matt black powder coating and delivered to the client's satisfaction.
